Cleansed Parcelles is one of the 19 common of district of the town of Dakar (Senegal).

The district is located in the North-East of the capital.

At the time of the census of 2002, the commune counted 127.947 inhabitants, 19.000 households and 10.240 concessions. End 2007, according to the official estimates, the population would rise with 143.967 people.

As a whole the inhabitants are rather young and much work in the informal sector.

All the socioprofessional categories all and the ethnicities are represented there.

Economy

On the territory of the commune one finds an establishment of public secondary education, the college of the Cleansed Pieces.
