Cleanliness

The cleanliness is the absence of stain, including Poussière, Tache, and bad Odeur.

During the more recent time, with the theory of the Disease S transmitted by the Germ S, it means also abscence of Virus and Bactérie S Pathogène S.

The degrees of cleanliness are very different according to the activities, since that can go until the atomic cleanliness of surfaces in the industrial processes.

One can distinguish physical Propreté (elimination of the stains), chemical Propreté (elimination of the residues of detergent), biological Propreté (elimination of the micro-organisms).

Cleanliness makes it possible to obtain particular properties of certain materials, for example to obtain the Transparence Vitre S.

One can speak about cleanliness for a living organism (man, pet) or for a place, a part.

Means of cleaning

There exist various manners of practicing the cleaning of a surface. We should take account of the origin of the stains to eliminate.

For the not-adherent stains, one carries out a de-dusting. Three possibilities: Dry sweeping, wet sweeping and the aspiration.

For the adherent stains, a washing is necessary. With this intention, one carries out is a manual washing or a mechanized washing (use of autolaveuse or single-brush).

Industrial cleanliness

One calls the employees of the Agent profession of Services. Indeed, in 2004, the companies opened with the associated services (hotel green areas, guarding, service, to see safety). Old name " agent of propreté" was not thus any more in adequacy with the work carried out by the agents.

Moreover, industrial cleaning suffers from its image, this new name develops the employees thus. We note a paradox besides: everyone wants cleanliness… but nobody wants to do it!

ADVANTAGES OF THE PROFESSION: Collective agreement (wages, schedules of night for example), versatility (see associated services), autonomy, upgrading capability in the hierarchy.

DISADVANTAGES OF THE PROFESSION: Part times, displacements, image,
