Clavery (type of vine)

The clavery is a white Cépage Moors and of the Yrénées-Atlantiques (France).

Origin and geographical distribution

Become rare, the clavery was in Chalosse (Moors) and in the Vic-Bilh and the Jurançonnais (Yrénées-Atlantiques). Its name and its alternatives would come from the Béarnais claberia (" enclosure, barrière"). He covered 23 more ha. in 2000, mainly in the Moors.
