Claudio Bernardo

Claudio Bernardo is a Danseur and Belgian Chorégraphe of origin Brésil ienne born in 1964 with Fortaleza.

After studies of Dance in its birthplace, he dances with the Ballet Stagium of São Paulo and meets Victor Navarro.

Leaving the Brazil, Bernardo arrives at Brussels in 1986, where it follows the courses of Maurice Béjart to the school Mudra. It there signs its first choreographies and follows Béjart to Lausanne, to the Béjart Ballet Lausanne, then returns to Brussels and works with Flemish Frederic with the Refinery of the Plan K.

As of 1990, it creates, for the Atelier Holy-Anne, a trilogy inspired of the Brazilian gold diggers, then one second around the female figure in Article.

In 1995, it creates its own company, called As Palavras (Words in Portuguese).

It is today in residence with the Theater of Mons.
