Claude Victor de Boissieu

Claude Victor of Boissieu (1784-1868) was an artist and notable local French.

Claude Victor de Boissieu was the pupil of his uncle, the large Lyons engraver Jean-Jacques de Boissieu (1736-1810).

After functions at the Court with the Restoration, Claude Victor de Boissieu will exert local political offices: he will be mayor of Ambérieu-in-Bugey, Justice of the Peace, general adviser of the Ain.
