Claude Saunier

Claude Saunier , Politician French, born the February 26th 1943 is senator Coast-with Armor (Brittany), member of the Socialist party.

Elected official the September 24th 1989, it was re-elected the September 27th 1998

Member of the Commission of the economic affairs and the plan.

With the PS, it supports the current " New PS: for an socialist alternative ".

It particularly follows the questions of research, Sustainable development and Mondialisation. He is the coordinator of association ATTAC with the Senate. He is member of the Fondation Copernic.

Claude Saunier is also vice-president of the Parliamentary office of evaluation of the scientific and technological choices. Within this framework, he works atuellement on a report/ratio entitled " Contributions of sciences and technologies to the development durable". Its exit is planned for June 2006. He is also the author or the joint author of several reports/ratios, whose principal ones are devoted to the following topics: - the microphone and nano technologies - the food public health and, and the operation of the agencies resulting from the law of July 1998 - after-oil - the organization of the public expertise
