Claude Sarraute

Claude Sarraute , Journalist and writer French, was born the July 24th 1927 with Paris. Girl of the writer Nathalie Sarraute and a lawyer, it is also the widow of the French academician Jean-François Revel (1924-2006) and the mother of the journalist Martin Tzara.

This collaborator of the newspaper Le Monde is known general public for her participation in the emissions the Famous persons of Philippe Bouvard and One very tested of Laurent Ruquier.

Course

After a schooling with the Alsatian School and studies in faculties of letters and right to Paris, it passes an English license and starts in 1949 a career of actress of theater, which it gives up in 1952. She will declare on this subject: “I was better actress at the city than with the scene”.

It launches out finally in a career of journalist, first of all by collaborations with English newspapers (in particular the Sunday Express which it integrates in 1954 as corresponding to Paris), like chroniqueuse then leader-writer with the daily newspaper Le Monde , where it deals with the heading “Spectacles” since 1953, of the Télévision heading during twelve years, then until 1986 of the drafting of tickets of moods daily newspapers (joined together in 1985 in the collection Dites thus! ) and of a weekly chronicle entitled What a History!

In 1987, it is tested with the journalism of television by making the interview of Georges Marchais in the emission the hour of truth .

From 1998 to 2004, it publishes a monthly chronicle in Psychologies magazine .

It forms today part of the “band with Ruquier”, i.e. the chroniclers who took part in the radio programs of Laurent Ruquier on France Inter of 1995 to 1999 and on Europe 1 since 1999, and with his television program One very tested on France 2 of 2000 to 2007.
