Claude Rajotte
Claude Rajotte is a radio presenter and of television inhabitant of Quebec born the July 3rd 1955. Its televisual career lasted more than twenty years, initially with TVJQ where it animated the emission Radio-Video at the beginning of the Années 1980 and on the waves of VAT with the emission Bon Sunday, then on the specialized station MusiquePlus. Its career with radio started with CHRD with Drummondville in 1974. It also animated with Quebec and Ottawa before joining CKOI FM with Montreal in 1976. In 1982, it made the jump at the anglophone station CHOM, to which it was associated until February 2002. Since 2004, Rajotte animates at the station Espace Music of Radio-Canada.
As of its recruiting with MusiquePlus in 1987 like VJ, critical in discs and journalist, it specialized in the music known as alternative, or underground. It animated Nu Musik in the Années 1980, then Rage in the Années 1990. Rage is a weekly emission complementary to the radio broadcast of the same name diffused on the waves of CHOM. In 1995, Rage was replaced by the Curve , which borrowed the same musical format while being diffused several times per week. With the radio, the emission Rage continued some time before it changes it the name for The Claude Rajotte Show . Nu Musik finally returned in waves before it leaves the station.
In the Years 1990, it also animated the cemetery of CD , an emission mainly devoted on line to the criticism of discs and the review of the prize lists. A guest also came to present his favorite albums. Rajotte was dissociated by the virulent, but honest style of its criticisms. One of the chronicles of the emission, the Destroy of the week , often showed Rajotte destroying an album that he had particularly hated, by a not very orthodoxe means. One saw it setting fire to discs, to demolish them with blows of hammer, chain saw or while rolling above with various vehicles. The weekly emission was in waves during ten years. It left MusiquePlus in June 2004. Its 17 years spent to the antenna of MusiquePlus make of Rajotte the organizer more tried out station.

He repeats the experiment the next summer and is then engaged with the autumn 2004 full-time for Espace Music, station sister of the First Chain. Its emissions are diffused everywhere in Canada on the French network of Radio-Canada and simultaneously on Bande with share, a service satellite radio of Sirius offered in North America. It is also possible to listen to Espace Music on Internet site of the station. Rajotte has also a weekly chronicle with the Free Fréquence emission, diffused with the First Chain of Radio-Canada.
