Claude Parent

Claude Parent , born the February 26th 1923 with Neuilly-sur-Seine, is a Architecte French known, with Paul Virilio, for its work on oblique architecture. Professor with him with the special School of architecture to Paris, they formed in their workshop several great names of the French contemporary architecture, like Jean Nouvel.

It obtains the national Grand Prix of architecture in 1979 and it is elected president of the Academy of Architecture, then member of Académie of the Art schools in 2005, with the armchair of Jean Balladur. It was received under the Cupola in 2006 by its fellow-member Roger Taillibert.
