Claude Kordon
Claude Kordon , born in 1934 with Geneva, is a Biologiste French specialist in Endocrinologie and Neuroendocrinologie.
Biography
It obtains its science doctorate in 1965 with the Université of Paris before becoming researcher with CNRS. It was of 1975 to 1999 director of a laboratory INSERM being interested in research on dynamics of the neuroendocriniens units.Claude Kordon also was very implied in the administrative structures of CNRS (member of the scientific advice of 1980 to 1985) and of the INSERM (member of the scientific advice of 1986 to 1990; member of the Codis of 1991 to 1996). He is currently member of the national Advisory committee of ethics.
He was also founding member and first president of Euroscience (1997-2001).
Scientific contributions
Its research was mainly directed towards the neuroendocrinology, i.e. the role and the fontions of the Hormone S (in particular of the Growth hormone) in the Cerveau on the level of their actions towards the behavior, physiology, and the Immune system.
