Claude Gladu

Claude Gladu is a politician Québécois. He is mayor of the town of Longueuil. Its party, Left municipal Bank-south: Equip Gladu , gained the municipal elections of November 2005. As a mayor, it carries the title of " Its honor " (or in English, His Worship).

Gladu began its career by exerting the trade of fireman to Ville Jacques-Cartier in the Années 1960. He is a city council man since 1982.

During the Years 1980, it chairs the Shipping company of the Bank-South of Montreal. Gladu had been before mayor of Longueuil of 1994 with 2001.

It was replaced by Jacques Olivier in 2002, but at the summer 2005 it took the top on this one in a putsch. Gladu is also member of the Chevaliers of Colomb and the Optimistic Club.

A scandal bursts under its administration when the newspaper the Press reveals that 500.000 new and worn books were thrown and hidden by the municipality.
