Claude Gauvard

Claude Gauvard is a French historian Médiéviste born in 1942. It was the pupil of Bernard Guenée. She teaches the history of the Moyen-âge to the Université Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne and is member of the Academic institute of France since 1997.

She Co-directed the publication of the Dictionnaire of the Middle Ages (PUF 2002). She also Co-directs to the university Presses of France the collection “the Gordian knot” and the historical Revue .
