Claude Erignac
Claude Erignac , born the October 15th 1937 with Mende and deceased the February 6th 1998 with 21:15 with Ajaccio, was a civil servant French. He was Corsica prefect of when he was assassinated by independence Corsican. Recognized by the political world in which it is very present, Claude Erignac was a man of dialog and negotiation.

Claude Erignac association
Claude Erignac association, was created by his wife, her children and of the close relations after his tragic disappearance on February 6th 1998 with Ajaccio. The statutes were deposited with the Official journal on February 5th 2000. The object of association is to perpetuate its memory and to make live the republican values. Values which were his, throughout these decades entirely devoted to the service of the State and the company. Values which have names: Courage, Firmness as for the Respect of the Law, Tolerance and Respect of the other, Solidarity and Humanism. It gathers around the memory of the assassinated prefect of the friends, the collaborators and the close relations. It counts among its members of the former ministers, the senior officials, the journalists or the high level sportsmen. Many anonymities, touched by the assassination of Claude Erignac, and sensitive to the action undertaken, also joined association since its creation. Claude Erignac association joins together today nearly 450 members, natural persons and morals. Its presidency is taken since its creation by Mister Antoine Rufenacht, mayor Of Le Havre and friend of Claude Erignac.
