Claude Colonial Moore Farm
The Claude Moore Colonial Farm of Turkey Run is the only private park of the National Park Service (NPS). A private foundation finances the activities of the farm, whereas the ground on which it is located belongs to the NPS. Located in the zone of Langley on the territory of the locality of McLean, near the Central seat of the Intelligence Agency.
Goals
The mission of Turkey Run of is recreated the living conditions of the Fermier S of 1771. Most of the inhabitants of the Virginia of this time was farmers who cultivated the Tabac, in order to pay the rent of their farm and their subsistence.
