Claude Chabrol

Claude Chabrol , born the June 24th 1930 with Paris parents pharmacists, is a French realizer, also producing, actor, scenario writer and dialogist.

Biography

After a youth with Sardent, in the Digs where his/her parents send it during the second world war, and of the studies of right during which it côtoye Jean-Marie Le Pen, Claude Chabrol takes part as a film critic in the launching of the French New wave, at the sides of François Truffaut and Jacques Rivette, his collaborators with the Cahiers of the cinema . In the review with yellow cover, founded by Andre Bazin and Jacques Doniol-Valcroze, it takes part in the defense of the policy of the authors and publishes, in 1957 with Eric Rohmer, a book on Alfred Hitchcock, that which knew to impose its style on the Hollywood system.
