Claude Bazin de Bezons , born with Paris in 1617 and dead the March 20th 1684, is a French lawyer and politician.

Biography

Wire of Claude Bazin, who married Marie Chanterel in 1580 and was anobli by Louis XIII in 1611, and whose family had the seigniory of Bezons, Claude Bazin de Bezons is lawyer with the Grand the Council. In 1643, it is elected member of the French Academy, of which he will become the senior.

It is Intendant of justice, the police force and finances of Soissons, then Languedoc of 1654 with 1674, period during which he is also police chief for the reorganization of the universities of Toulouse and of Montpellier. Of return to Paris, it is named to advise State.

It left like writings only fugitive parts, of which some speech and harangues, as well as a translation of the treaty of Prague between Ferdinand II and the duke of Saxony in 1635.

His/her daughter Susanne (1648-1699) married the intendant of Normandy Louis the White, father of the Secretary of State to the war Claude the White.
