Claude Bariteau

Claude Bariteau (1943 -) is a Anthropologue Québécois. He is reprocessed professor associated with the department of anthropology of the Université Laval.

Intellectual committed and in favor of the independence of Quebec, it signs regularly texts in the Duty and the National action , in addition to publishing works on the Québécois national question. He criticizes the strategy of accession to the sovereignty put of before by the Parti Québécois and preaches the accession of Quebec to independence by the means of a decisional election, where the candidates of the independence parties would obtain the majority of the votes and the seats to the National Assembly of Quebec.

He is member of the board of directors of the '' Rassemblement for the independence of Quebec '' (RIQ).
