Claude-Henri Grignon (Holy-Adele, July 8th, 1894 in Quebec - Quebec, April 3rd, 1976 in Quebec) is writer, Journaliste, lecturer and lampoonist Québécois. Its novel a man and his sin (1933) belonged to the most known literary works in Quebec.
Biography
Attracted very young person by the Journalism, Claude-Henri Grignon writes initially articles for the Future of North of St-Jerome, but will continue all his life to write, sometimes under Pseudonyme S, in several Magazine S and Québécois newspapers of the time: Minerve , the Morning , Canada , the Small Newspaper , the popular Review , the Rebirth and Battle . Member of the literary School of Montreal, it collaborates as from 1920 in the Nationaliste . He was director of the literary pages of the review Ahead! and of the weekly magazine the Bulletin of the farmers . Become director-assistant of publicity to the ministry for Colonization, it founds into 1936 the Pamphlets of Valdombre . It publishes each month there, during nearly six years, of the Pamphlet S arts persons and policies. In 1938, with the assistance of his German cousin Guèvremont, it inaugurates the radiophonic series the Beautiful stories of the countries of in-high by adapting its news to it the Deserter . It carries out then the first radiophonic adaptation of a man and his sin .He was mayor of Holy-Adele of 1941 to 1951
