A classroom is a Salle where one practices teaching in a school.

Basic equipment

Generally, the room is equipped with a Black board on which one writes with the Craie. The black board can be replaced by a white Tableau or a table paper on which one writes with the nonindelible felt and which avoids the production of the chalk dust.

In the universities, the “lecture theaters” are of large classrooms in form of Amphithéâtre, being able to accommodate several hundreds of students.
