Classify with arranged schedules
There exist in France varied type of classes to arranged schedules . Most current are those of the four days Semaine for example in primary education. They make it possible to change the management of the time of class of the pupils and/or to develop cultural, musical or sporting practices of enough high level without cutting down on the school level.
In primary education
The normal schedule is 26 hours per week during 36 weeks (lasted normal) divided into 4 days and half (one Saturday out of three is released to arrive at the 26 hours average). The schools can choose (subject to agreement with the Préfet of the department) another organization of the week. When the weekly schedule is reduced, the missed hours are caught up with, with the choice of the schools, over the holiday or summer holidays small (even a combination of both)
4 days week
Principle
It allows the children and the parents to have one complete weekend every week and to leave the rest of Wednesday. The schedules of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday are unchanged. Opinions
Dispute by the specialists in the rhythms of life and childhood, because of a too long cut of the weekend and because in two days, the children have evil to recover Monday morning. They also evoke that saturdays are generally used for less heavy revisions and activities for the children, which does not exist in a class with the 4 days week.The parents are in general for this organization of the week, which is an alternative to the increase in the carryforward of the courses of the Saturday to Wednesday to release the weekend. A kind of double advantage. According to them that more easily makes it possible to the children to practice an activity annexes to the école.
The teachers are divided: some recognize that it is difficult to go back to work Monday morning but that a little shortened summer holidays allow a less long cut (especially when certain children do not read during the holidays).
Carryforward of the courses of the Saturday to Wednesday
Principle
It is possible for the schools to arrange the 4 days week and half by moving the courses of the Saturday to Wednesday. Thus one releases the weekend without sacrificing holidays to the children.

Other possible installations of the organization of the week
There exist other installations over 5 days which exist. These installations in general gather the courses the morning and at the beginning of afternoon (or not) and envisage extra-curricular activity outwards.
Classify with artistic or cultural project (CAP)
It changes the organization of the matters between them. It develops the transdisciplinarity.
Classify with schedule arranged music (CHAM)
There exist two dominant: vocal and instrumental 3 hours minimum of practice hebdomadiare and until 6:30 (variable according to the years and the dominant one).
In college
Principle of the timetable
The chief of establishment is alone to decide organization of the timetables (position of course and duration of pause lunch) in the week.
Sporting or musical section
Possibility for the pupils of looking further into their practice of a sport or their knowledge musical while continuing their normal schooling. It involves however sometimes a lightening of certain schedules appointed by matter (with the choice of the establishment but no matter can be completely removed). The pupils are in general allowed on file of the former résutats. (If it were not followed front, an evaluation is organized in sport or music, according to the section concerned.)
Section (pre) European and bilangue
Allows to increase time volume devoted to the languages (or a language), with an aim of then being able to more easily integrate a European section in 4th or into the college.
The die bilangue is under development full. It consists in starting two languages in sixth. (It is called trilingual in Alsace in general, and sometimes European but less and less).
More and more today it consists of the continuation of the language started in primary education by adding another (one of both is to it often English, an exception however for a college of the academy of Metz: German-Italian).
In college
Certain colleges propose dies sporting music or section with arranged schedules. Generally there is selection of the allowed pupils (as for certain options in second normal). There exists also a Baccalauréat TMD (technique of the music and dance) with option music or dance .
In the superior
Certain universities propose schedules arranged for their students musicians or sportsmen under conditions. They also enable them to lengthen the duration to obtain DEUG (with the Réforme LMD, it is for everyone thus) or the HAD.
