The frigates (Destroyer - DDG - in the Code NATO, n° of hull preceded by a " D ") horizon class are buildings of anti-aircraft combat built in co-operation between France and Italy.

An anti-aircraft frigate

The Horizon frigates will have as a main mission of taking part in the anti-aircraft defense of a air and sea Groupe, or of ensuring the protection of a zone or a convoy against air raids or missiles. Construction
