Classification of Cronquist

The classification of Cronquist is a classification of the Angiosperme S. It is perhaps the last version of the major classifications based primarily on morphological, anatomical and chemical criteria. It is still used in many works and databases (like ITIS).

It is published by Arthur Cronquist in the

  • The Evolution and Classification off Flowering Plants (1968, 1988),
but especially in the magnum opus
  • Year Integrated System off Classification off Flowering Seedlings (1981).
