Clarisse Herrenschmidt
Clarisse Herrenschmidt is an anthropologist, member of the Institute of social Anthropologie of the Collège de France.
She takes part in the research team “Anthropology and language” and active member of the groups “Forms symbolic systems” and “Currency and Language” CREA-CNRS.
Specialist in the languages, the religions and civilizations of the Iran before Islam, but also of the old Greece, Clarisse Herrenschmidt studies the history of the writings of the Western man, since the bubbles with “calculi” of Sumer (Iraq) and Suse (Iran) to the Internet, while passing by the Means and the Middle East, the hellenized Greek world and Europe.
