It was adapted in Anime of 26 episodes by the Studio Pierrot in 1997.
Presentation
This manga tells the history of three young boys of the Clamp school. Under the direction of their “president”, they decide to found an agency of detectives of which the goal is to come to assistance of all the young women in the need. From the beginning, it is seen that this history is an immense joke, and CLAMP takes a malicious pleasure to caricature its characters, giving them responsibilities and a disproportionate importance since they are yet only at the elementary school. Each of the three boys having thus a standard personality: Nokoru Imonoyama, the president of the association of the pupils of his class, incarnates the young boy of good family (rich, beautiful, intelligent, eccentric). Suoh Takamura, the secretary of association, and also heir to a famous family of ninja, incarnates all the traditional values of Japan (honor and honesty). And finally, Akira Ijuin, the treasurer of association, is the standard, timid and naive nice fellow. At least, it is what one believes… History when with it is treated like a series of rather odd investigations and mild nutters, that young people regulate the ones after the others (to find a lost pet, to flush out a phantom which hides in the school…). Short all that is generally rather light and sympathetic nerve.
Comments
But CLAMP benefits to some extent from this manga to plant the decoration of the universe of several others their works. Indeed, the Clamp Campus of which it is here question is the same one as that where Kamui will seal the Divine Sword in X. Moreover main characters appear in other series, not only in X, but also in the Robber with the hundred faces or Dukalyon . Through the adventures of Nokoru and his two comrades, the reader discovers the immense school which is in fact plus a city in the city that a simple center of study.Between the episodes of the accounts, the authors frequently insert decorative images which show the three heroes posing in various uniforms, including the uniform of S, considered to be very elegant in Japan.
