Geography

Claix is located at the south of Grenoble not far from the confluence of the Gresse and the Drac.

The commune of Claix presents the face at the same time commune of the agglomeration of Grenoble and a commune of mountain, since its altitude culminates with more 1800m on the edge of the Vercors

History

The human presence with Claix and in its let us envrions is attested since antiquity, with very prehistoric remainders found on the commune.
