Clérimois is a common French, located in the department of the Yonne and the area Burgundy.

History

Claude Marc COSTEL, born on April 25th, 1729, with COURSAN, priest of FOISSY, senior of the river of Valve, appointed elected official of the bailliage of SENS in 1789 at the constituent assembly. Claude Marc COSTEL shows itself initially for the majority against the bishops of the assembly, it refuses nevertheless, the oath and leaves his cure. The district of JOIGNY informs the department of Yonne on April 23rd, 1793 that COSTEL was withdrawn with CHAUMET, in the priest, his nephew. The municipality refused a passport, on May 1st to him, the national guards arise in the priest of CHAUMET and claim his uncle. Answers ambiguities. COSTEL disappeared. July 4th, the gendarmerie seeks it, its goods are put in adjudication on April 2nd, 1795. COSTEL hides with COURSAN (Paddle). Under the directory, there can escape only while remaining hidden in a heap from faggots. At the end, overdraft, it is imprisoned in AUXERRE. 1798-1800: it returns in its family, is cleaned ST-MARDS of 1800 with 18O3, is cleaned COURSAN of January 23rd, 1808 at 1813, and dies in COURSAN on April 3rd, 1813.
