Cityjet

The CityJet (Code AITA: WX ; Code ICAO: BCY ) is a Irish Airline company founded in 1994. It is held at 100% by Air France.

It serves the '' London City Airport '' of London since less than one ten European cities and accomplishes flights at the beginning of Paris-CDG of frankness Air France. CityJet for Air France ensures in particular the connection Paris-Orly/London-City-Airport, called “ Cityjet ”, flight classifies exclusively of it business intended in the middle of the high finance.

It is a company partner of Flying Blue. The company exploits a fleet made up exclusively of BAe. Delivered its plane is either that of Air France, or one delivered in conformity with the new colors of the regional planes of the Air France Group.

Cityjet has four bases of exploitation:

Dublin (Ireland)
Airport of London - London City (England)
Airport of Paris - Charles-of-Gaulle (France)
Airport of Paris - Orly (France)

The company employs more than 400 flying personnel, PNT and PNC, of which more half in France.

Since 2006 the company replaces these old four-jet aircraft BAE146 by the modern version of this one (AVRO RJ) bought by the Air France group.

Since January 2007 and the appearance of the decree obliging the companies having of the bases in France to respect the law the labor French, Cityjet directed its development policy towards England.

Consequently, Cityjet decided at the beginning of December 2007 the delocalization of its crews based in France towards London and Dublin at the beginning of 2008. The flights will continue to be carried out at the beginning of Orly and Charles-of-Gaulle, but the crews will leave Dublin or London to carry out their rotation.
