Citroen C4
The Citroen C4 is a Automobile of the average range which replaced the fine Xsara 2004 and which was created by the team of designers placed under the direction of Jean-Pierre Ploué. It is available three versions of body: a truck five doors; a version three doors known as half-compartment and two versions monospace: Picasso and Grand Picasso.
Its suspension, which is not hydropneumatic, the large wheels and the seats of this traction privilege the effectiveness with comfort. Compared to the Citroen Xsara and preceding ZX, the axle postpones autodirectionnel, considered to be too sharp, was abandoned.

The automatic Boîte is available on the versions gasolines only, curiously only in 1.6L 110 ch on the versions 3 doors whereas it is available with the 2L of 143 ch in version 5 doors… but is also available on the versions diesel HDI during 2006. C4 1.6 HDI 110 New Year's gift a new robotized box with six relationship (baptized BMP6 for Controlled Manual Box, 6 counting the reports/ratios available) with a mode sport (0,4 S for a loading of rising report/ratio, against 0,8 S normally), more effective than SensoDrive but less consistent than the DSG of Volkswagen.

VTS
The VTS 2L 180 ch has a tonic acceleration with 8,3 S from 0 to 100 km/h, but the hardened suspension is not very comfortable as it was also the case on Xsara VTS 2.0i (167 ch).
C4 Picasso
The C4 range is supplemented by a compact monospace which takes again name " Picasso" already used for the monospace based on Xsara.
C4 Picasso is presented in the form of a compact monospace (4,59 m of length for 7 places and 4,47 m for 5 places) with a whole of innovating characteristics: avoid panoramic breeze, absence of central console between the two front seats, electric parking brake, robotized box with 6 reports/ratios, etc One of the most interesting characteristics of the model is the presence of a pneumatic suspension but only on the rear axle and the top-of-the-range completion Exclusive. C-triumph
There exists in China an alternative 4 doors and lengthened of C4, produced locally and called C-Triumph . The footing of 2,71 m benefits the back places and the form tricorps increases the length from 4,26 to 4,80 m increasing of 200 L (with 513 liters) the trunk.
A similar model is produced since 2007 in Argentina for the South American market and with the margin certain markets of Europe of the South, of which Spain. C4 WRC
The first turns of wheels of C4 WRC took place in 2004.
