Citroen C2

The Citroen C2 is a small car model town only available in 3 doors. Succeeding the Citroen Sax 3 doors, it is marketed in September 2003 and is produced only with Aulnay-sous-Bois.

Conceived like the variation cut sport of the Citroen C3, its business success is strongly depend on the absence of conflict with the truck to which the price is close and the services higher. However, the two cars have relatively different external styles which sometimes make say that C2 is conceived to attract a male public whereas the roundness of C3 is conceived to allure a women. Its trunk opens in two parts: a traditional forage ladder in top and a rack (platform which opens with horizontal) in bottom.

The Citroen C2 measures 3,66 m length, and offers place for 4 passengers. It offers in option or series of the back individual seats which can slide and be folded up via a system of jacks, which makes it possible to increase if necessary the initial volume of the trunk or space for the legs.

The Citroen C2 is declined in sporting version VTS in September 2004. This one is equipped with an engine gasoline 1.6 16v of 125 ch, and with a Châssis worked again, also declined for the competition with the version Super 1600.

After his/her sister the Citroen C3, C2 receives in March 2006 the system Stop & Start, associated with an engine 1.4 16v of 90 ch specific to this version as well as the robotized gear box Sensodrive which is also proposed on the versions 1.4l 75cv and 1.6L 110cv
