Citrix systems
Citrix Systems () is a company of high technology American E based with Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with important subsidiary companies with the the United Kingdom and in Australia.
Citrix was initially only software publisher but it acquired fine Net6 2004 and proposes from now on material solutions.
Citrix proposes a succession of products proposing an architecture of federation of the applications, even heterogeneous. In a Citrix architecture, the various applications of the company function all on a centralized waiter. The users reach their applications on the waiter via a customer Citrix. Citrix architecture is concurrent of architectures type J2EE (Web applications).
Citrix Systems, Inc. announced on August 15th, 2007 the acquisition of XenSource, Inc for an amount from approximately $ 500 million. Citrix enters thus the promising market of the virtualisation on the waiters and the work stations.

- Citrix Presentation Server (in the past Citrix MetaFrame )
- Citrix Access Gateway (offers material based on the Net6 products)
- Citrix Advanced Access Control (in the past MetaFrame Secure Access Manager, NFuse Elite)
- GoToAssist, GoToMeeting and GoToMyPC

Citrix was founded in 1989 by ED Iacobucci in the Delaware. Mark Templeton is current (2005) the President.
Citrix is partner of Microsoft and develops products compatible with the Active Directory fields under Microsoft Windows.
