Citrine
see also: Etymology of Citrine
The citrine (silicon dioxide) is a variety of quartz, whose yellow color is due to the presence of negligible quantities of iron oxides in mineral. It is called also yellow quartz.
The citrine one is rather seldom in a natural state. Generally it is about Améthyste heated which takes a yellow color instead of violet.
