Cities of memory

This account of imaginary voyage of Herve Tellier published in 2004 (Editions International Berg ) is a double homage to the GULLIVER of Jonathan Swift and to the invisible Villes of the Italian writer and oulipien Italo Calvino. (ISBN 2-91128-960-9)

Synopsis

Cités of memory gathers, in the shape of a notebook of adventures of two travellers, the genesis and the portraits of forty cities discovered in their tours. It is the occasion of as many variations on the memory, the knowledge, the language, the identity, the pleasure or the untraceable direction of the life. Difficult to distinguish the onirism or the parabola from reality in this very short news, impressed humor and of philosophy.
