Cirse of the fields

The cirse of the fields ( Cirsium arvense ) is a bi-annual or long-lived plant pertaining to the kind Cirsium and to the family of the Astéracées (or Made up).

Description

Very common in all Europe, it is a plant nitrophile, adventitious of the majority of the cultures, multiplying quickly by its stolons. One recognizes it inter alia with his flowerheads lilac whose florets largely open out.
