Circus Maximus (group)
Circus Maximus is a Norwegian group of progressive Metal formed by the singer Michael Eriksen (Carnivora (group)), the beater Truls Haugen, the bass player Glen Cato Møllen, the guitarist Mats Haugen and the clavierist Lasse Finbroten.
The group was formed in 2002 and left its first demonstration in 2003 The first album The 1st Chapter left in 2005 pennies the label Frontier Records to Europe (Sensory Records in the USA, and Intromental Mngm in the rest of the world). The album is strongly influenced by the great names of the progressive Metal such as Dream Theater or Symphony X and is belonged to the albums most technically thorough of its generation. The second and last album to date are Isolate . It left on August 31st, 2007 and has a musical environment darker than the precedent. The history of this concept album was thought by the Truls beater
