Circuit of Mérignac

The circuit of Mérignac is a Road racing set which was created in 1991 on the initiative of the city. The Mairie of Mérignac ceased ensuring management of it on December 31st, 2004. April 15th, 2006 the circuit has réouvert its doors with the public.

The management of the circuit was entrusted to the company Piste SR ( P ôle I ndustriel, S cientific, T echnic and E ducatif of S ecurity R outière) for 5 years, partner of association Bergerac oise “() to better lead”.

The circuit comprises:

a track in Bitumen of 1 760 meters
a surface of evolution 4x4 and any ground of 1 200 meters including/understanding: a zone of crossing of obstacle, a zone trialisante, a passage of ford and various adapted installations.

The Automobile Sports association of the Circuit of Mérignac takes part in rally S and the Coupe de France of the Rallys organized by the French federation of the automobile sport.
