Cinema festival of 3 Americas

The mission of the Cinema festival of 3 Americas is to present the cinema coming from all the American continent while gathering the creators come to celebrate and share their culture like their vision of the world.

Born from a will to equip Quebec with a true cinema festival and to differentiate it from the other events associated with the cinema, the Festival of Cinéma of 3 Americas supports open and original programming which gives a choice place to the independent productions in their offering a privileged window.

Digest over five days, the festival presents more than 200 films, courts and feature-length films, coming from the four corners of Americas. Parallel to its regular programming, the Cinema festival of 3 Americas presents several special events in order to arouse the interest of the film enthusiasts and speakers of the cinematographic medium.

In spite of its young age, the Cinema festival of 3 Americas became impossible to circumvent Québécois cultural scene as well as an exceptional appointment for the film enthusiasts of the province.

In January 2004, the Festival received SODEC the Outstanding commendation award of Arts and Culture in Quebec.

Price

Two juries decree each year for works in competitions, the Price of the best feature-length film - Quebec TV and the Price of the best short film. In addition, the festival ones vote for the Price of the public - Commission of the national capital.
