Cinema celebrates
The Fête of the cinema is an operation being held each Année in June in France since 1985.
It was launched on June 14th, 1985 on the initiative of the National federation of the French cinemas (FNCF), jointly with the Ministère of the Culture and the whole of the professions of the cinéma.
For the purchase of a place to the full tariff, a notebook-passport will be given to the spectator, giving right to him all the following entries to the single tariff of 10 francs (1,50 euros).
Two other operations of the same kind are organized each year by the FNCF:
- since 2000: the Spring of the cinema, with the Spring (in March);
- since 2004: the Sunken of the cinema, with the re-entry in September.
