The teams of Bearcats take part in the university competitions organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Cincinnati belongs to division Big East Conference since 2005.

The team of Basket-ball was carried out by Oscar Robertson of 1956 to 1960. However, Bearcats await 1961 and 1962 to be crowned champions NCAA.
