Cinéfondation

The Cinéfondation' was created in 1998 to support the creation of films in the world, and to help at the entry of the new scenario writers in the monde.
Each year, ten Réalisateur S is accommodated with Cannes which carried out one, or two feature-length film fiction.
Since its creation, it is more than forty countries, and seventy scenario writers who met.

Cinéfondation places at the disposal a residence with Paris for the scenario writers, a help with the writing of the Scénario, and meetings with professionnels.
Moreover, the accommodated scenario writers receive:

  • an financial aid of 800 € per month
  • an free access with the more big rooms of cinema of Paris
The selection of the participants is ridge by a jury chaired by a realizer or a personality of the cinema, it is based on the quality of measurings already carried out, and on the motivation of the candidates.
