the Four Hundred Blows is a French film, first feature film carried out by François Truffaut, left on June 3rd 1959 to France.
Synopsis
Largely autobiographical, the film tells the difficult childhood of Antoine Doinel, interpreted by Jean-Pierre Léaud, his relations with his/her parents, its small larcenies which will be worth to him to be locked up in a center for juvenile delinquents.

It will turn thereafter Antoine and Colette , in film with sketches the Love at twenty years , in 1962, stolen Baisers (love between Antoine Doinel and Christine Darbon alias Claude Jade) in 1968, marital Home (married life of Christine and Antoine) in 1970 and the Love in escape (divorce of Antoine and Christine) in 1979, which will constitute the Aventures of Antoine Doinel , recurring hero who will be always interpreted by Jean-Pierre Léaud.
