Ciborium

The ciborium , of the Latin ciborium , itself of the Greek kibĂ´rion , cut) is a Vase crowned, used in the catholic Liturgie.
In general closed of a lid, it is intended to contain the Hostie S devoted by the priest, is to distribute them to the faithful ones which commmunient, that is to say to preserve them in the gate vault.
