Church of Alexain
Dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin, the church was rebuilt about the years 1862 - 1864, under the reign of Mr. Foussard, priest of Alexain, thanks to the plans of the Lemesle architect and in the style of the buildings of the 13th century. She is surmounted by a 'flanked bell-tower, with her birth of four Gothic pediments D a singular aspect ".
This sanctuary - which has three naves - is lit by seventeen stained glasses. its chorus having a stained glass which represents " the Holy-Virgin on a tree trunk to which a swarm of bees " is suspended;. In addition to its confessionals and its pulpit due to the talent of Mr. Blottière, the building shelters, in its vault of the Sacred Heart, a framework which contains a piece of the Hêtre where the statue of the Madonna of these places was discovered.
