Chun
Seventh wire of the emperor Daoguang, it did not reign after the reign of his/her brother Xianfeng nor after that of its nephew Tongzhi. It tried to be opposed to the reign of its great nephew Guangxu, the grandson of another of his brothers, but in vain. In 1908, Cixi seized officially the power and designated the son of Chun, Aixinjueluo Puyi, like heir to the throne of China. It was very happy and became for it an adviser of its son (who went up on the throne at three years).
