The family of the Astéracées or Composées is an important family of plants Dicotylédone S which includes/understands close to 13 000 Species S divided into 1 500 kind S. They are primarily herbaceous plants even if it can exist trees, shrubs or lianas in this family.

florets all ligulas (Chicorey, Dandelion, Lettuce etc);
tubulés florets all (Thistle, Cirse, Centaury etc);
peripheral florets ligulas surrounding a disc of tubulés florets (daisy, aster, Séneçon etc).
