Biography

Native of Kansas City, in Oklahoma, Carlos Ray Norris has two younger brothers, of which one is the Hollywood producer Aaron Norris. His/her parents are both of stocks Indian (Cherokee) and Irish.

Whereas it is only twelve years old, his/her parents divorce and it moves in California with his mother and her brothers. It is there that it finishes its studies with the college and Marie quickly with her boyfriend, Diane Holechek. After its marriage, it joined the US Air Force and is sent to make its military service at the base of Osan, in South Korea. It is there that it acquires the nickname of Chuck and that it starts to learn the Tang Soo Do.

It goes back then to the United States, in the base of March, to California. It finishes its services with the army in August 1962 without to have taken share with another combat which drives of the base.

It has a black belt in Tang Soo Do, Tae Kwon Do, and is the founder of the Chun Kuk Do (" The way universelle"). It also practiced the Judo, the Karaté and the Ju-jitsu. He is the founder of UFAF (United Fighting Arts Federation).

On its return, he works for the company Northrop and opens a school of karate attended by many celebrities, of which Steve McQueen. But at the end of the Years 1980, Norris does not fill the rooms as much any more, and the Canon films, at the origin of its films is repurchased by the MGM after its bankruptcy. It turns then to television while launching out in the series Walker, Texas Ranger in 1993. This series is a success: it hopes nine seasons and continuous to be diffused on very many chains throughout the world.

In 1998, it was remarié with the old mannequin Gena O' Kelley which gave him twins in 2002: Dakota Alan Norris, a boy, and Danilee Kelly Norris, a girl.
