Chuck Loeb
Chuck Loeb is a guitarist of Jazz American born the July 12th 1955 with Nyack in the state of New York. It was illustrated in many styles, even if its career solo is especially centered around the jazz " Crossover ", contemporary or Smooth jazz. It starts to play of the guitar at the 11 years age, discovers the jazz at its 16 years, taking as a starting point Jim Hall, Pat Metheny and Joe Puma, and is registered with the prestigious Berklee College off Music.
Loeb makes its beginnings of musician with New York with inter alia Hubert Laws, Chico Hamilton and Joe Farrel and joined in 1979 the group of Stan Getz for 2 years. He also works on jingles and BO of films at the same time as a guitarist and a type-setter. Of 1985 with 1987, he is member of the group of Jazz fusion Steps Ahead. More recently, it produces discs of Donald Harrison, Nelson Rangell, Larry Coryell, George Garzone or Warren Bernhardt.
It also belonged to other groups such as Petite Blonde , to which belonged the saxophonist Bill Evans, Metro with Mitchel Forman and Fantasy Band . He played with Gary Burton, Dave Samuels and of many others. Its compositions became standards of pop/jazz.
