Chronography
The chronography , of the Greek χρονογραφία or χρονογράφος, is a historical nature of document which corresponds under the terms of Chronique and of Annales. It is the equivalent in the Greek language of Chronologie.
The chronography is an intermediate kind, neither as brief as the chronology, nor as developed as annal, in the narration year per year of the historical events.
The authors having written chronographies belong primarily to the Byzantine world , most known being Théophane.
