Biography

With died of Charles Ier de Hohenzollern, the principality of Hohenzollern was divided between its three sons:

Eitel-Frederic Ier de Hohenzollern-Hechingen accepted the principality of Hechingen Charles II of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen accepted the principality of Sigmaringen Christophe de Hohenzollern-Haigerloch accepted the principality of Haigerloch.

Christophe de Hohenzollern-Haigerloch founded the line of Hohenzollern-Haigerloch. His/her Jean son succeeded to him in 1592.
