Christophe Ruer

Christophe Ruer , born the July 3rd 1965 and deceased the July 27th 2007, was an athlete French in the discipline of the modern Pentathlon. He was married and father of three children.

He disputed four Olympiads where its best result was a fifth place with individual with OJ of 1988 with Seoul. In addition, he was also world champion by teams with France. After its career in the modern pentathlon, it aligned starting from 2002 in the competitions of biathlon (swimming, race on foot) for veterans, gaining a championship of the world in this category. He dies in 2007 in an motorbike accident with Port-Saint-Father.
