Christophe Pignol

Christophe Pignol is a Football or French born the October 17th 1969 with Aubagne. His/her little brother, Stephan Pignol is Football eur.

He evolved/moved at the station of defender and was formed with the ACE Saint-Etienne with which he began in D1 the August 29th 1987 against the Olympique from Marseilles to the Stade Cycle-racing track. He passed then by FC Istres in D2 (1991-1993), FC Nantes (1993-1997), the ACE Monaco (1997-2000) and the Lille Olympique Sporting Club (2000-2001).

The April 10th 2001, all rocked for him, reaches of a acute Leucémie, it stopped its professional path and it due fighting during long month its disease. Today cured, he is sport director of the Aubagne FC in DHR and passes his diplomas to become trainer.

He however does not forget what arrived to him. Indeed, it created the Association Christophe Pignol in February 2002 to fight against this disease, to collect gifts which will be able to help the medical research to progress, to inform people on this disease to lead them to include/understand the importance of the gifts of osseous marrow to look after the Leucémie and to return the stay in less difficult hospital.
